This introduction is divided into five sections:
Section 1 explains you how to install the software and provides an overview of the various windows in SPSS.
Section 2 covers data entry.
Section 3 explains how you can create variables.
Section 4 shows how you can describe your data in a clear way.
Section 5 discusses using multiple answers in your data.
Would you like to continue practicing? A number of files have been provided for you to try out what you have learned and these can be found in after section 5 under 'Model datasets'.
The examples given in these pages were made in SPSS version 21.
